The European   Industrial Research Management Association (EIRMA) held its 2004 annual conference in Edinburgh,UK from 26 to 28 May. The theme of this year’s conference was ‘Increasing the entrepreneurial spirit of R&D’. A one-day Senior Executive Forum took place alongside the general sessions and considered how a company’s top management can achieve the common understanding and frameworks necessary for innovation-led value creation and growth.
